My son's first grade class photo captured right before the year end play performance. I asked the kids to show me some attitude, that is what I got!

Wanted to say Thank you! to my friend Lisa McKendry of Story Lens Photography for having me help her out recently on a photo shoot in Beaver Creek, crazy shoot that included teepees and a near whiteout...

Quality time with Santa

Got to spend some quality time with the big guy during a shoot in Denver last week, made sure I was on his nice list and asked for a healthy, happy and busy 2013 for myself and my family. He just nodded, laid a finger aside his nose and up the elevator soon he rose...

My Instacanvas gallery is open!

Yes, it is!
I know, I know I've heard the jokes "Instagram is just facebook for people who can't read." And "How much does a hipster weigh? An instagram!" But I still love it, I love the simplicity of it. Just photos and comments and hashtags. That's it. Minimal spam, minimal bs and a more global look at the world through others eyes that I just don't have in my other social media circles. And the fact that now you can buy canvas prints and phone cases of photos taken with a phone just cracks me up!

So, if you would like to see some more of my personal work and were looking for something unique to buy for the holidays, check out my Instacanvas gallery. You can purchase cool iphone cases, greeting cards framed prints, and of course canvas prints. Let me know what you think!

Breckenridge portrait session

These are a few of my favorites from Lizzie and TJ's engagement portrait session last fall in Breckenridge, CO. The handmade wedding date numbers were Lizzie's idea and something I hadn't seen or shot before. Looking forward to shooting the wedding in the summer!

"And don't keep the faith."

Christopher Hitchens closing a letter he wrote to apologize for missing a speaking engagement at the American Athiests convention in April of 2011 due to his recent diagnosis of esophageal cancer.

This photo was taken in March of 2010, on stage just after Apolo Ohno, one week removed from his record setting olympics performance, had finished speaking. His opening line, which cracked everyone up was, "Now I know how a person feels who just got second at a Marylin Monroe look alike contest."
