It's on!

Snowmaking that is, exactly five miles from my front door at Ruby Hill Park, home of the fouth season of the Ruby Hill Railyard. This is the result of a couple nights work with warm days, but snow is in the forecast for the next few days, bring it on!

Doesn't everyone want one of these down the street?

Working Man

This was an impromptu take your son to work day earlier this summer, he got some great shots of those windows from the inside with his Vtech Kidszoom camera.

Dusk shot

This is what I do 40-50 hours a week, my day job you could say... I work for Obeo shooting virtual tours of properties for realtors, homeowners and real estate developers. This house is in the foothills of Denver near Roxbourogh State Park.

Shredding before the Wedding

These photos are from an engagement portait session at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area this past March. Rachel and Eric, a great couple whos wedding I'm shooting later this summer, wanted to do something different for the session and suggested snowboarding at the Basin. A great idea! So we strapped on the boards, took a couple of runs, and enjoyed a beautiful bluebird morning in the mountains.

Relish life

I love it when people make a commitment to follow a dream and it seems to manifest itself almost immediately, no doubt directly due to that commitment, plus gobs of talent and desire.

Such is the case with Matt and Lisa Fackler, good friends of mine who three years ago opened Relish, a fine dining restaurant in Breckenridge, CO that has been consistently amazing every time I've eaten there. But don't just take my completely biased opinion, check out their mention in the New York Times, Westword, and this months 5280 Magazine, who ran a photo I shot of the dining room showing three of my photos decorating the wall. That I got published next to a shot of Breck taken by one of my colleagues and best friends Todd Powell, is just icing on today's cake.
