Jules and Kevin's Wedding In Vail

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of attending and shooting our old friend Jules' wedding in Vail, Colorado. Jules, who looked stunning in her fabulous dress, married Kevin on a picture perfect fall mountain day with the aspen leaves just beginning to turn and family and friends from around the globe in attendance. Throw in a beautiful setting at the Donovan Pavillion, a great band, and one of the most hilarious best man speeches I've ever heard, and you have a couple who look like they are going to continue to have a lot of fun in their lives. Congrats and best wishes to you!

Natalie and Jeff

In June, I donated an outdoor photo session to be bid upon at a fundraiser for the Little Red Schoolhouse in Breckenridge, CO and the winners were Natalie and Jeff, a super nice local couple who needed an engagement portrait. We shot a few by Lake Dillon and then headed up to Loveland Pass for some fun top of the world shots with their two dogs. Congratulations on your wedding guys!

SIA Snow Show comes to Denver

Denver scored a huge coup when the SIA Snow Show tradeshow moved its location from Las Vegas to a real snow sports town this Jan 27th-31st. I was there to check it all out, drool over the new skis and boards, fill my pockets with free stuff, and support the Ruby Hill Railyard, which used some of my photos for the display. Here are some shots of our booth in The Yard, a multi use hangout area at the edge of the show where the retailers and exhibitors could come and chill away from the wheeling and dealing of the rest of the show. Loved the use of shipping containers, it looked like something out of Dwell magazine.

Ruby Hill Railyard 2010 is open

The snowmaking is done, the hardworking volunteers have put up the snow fencing, groomed the hill, installed the boxes and rails and opened the Ruby Hill Railyard for the 2010 season. Time to ride and slide in style... Thanks to Tori Hutchens for the sweet poster design.
